JUNIOR CALENDAR   Friday Fun Club Night (members only) 4:00pm - 5:00pm for non interclub players 5:00pm - 6:00 pm for interclub players These are social nights run by Kevin, Geoff or Sam and include games, drills, coaching and a bbq. Saturday Morning Coaching (members only) 8:15am to 9:15am for new players in the 6 to 8 year age group 9:15 to 10:15 for non interclub juniors 10:15 to 11:15 for interclub juniors These are fun coaching mornings run by Kevin, Geoff or Sam School Holiday Programme Comprehensive programme at Mission Bay catering for beginners plus match play for beginners and open players. This programme is open to members and non members. Invite your friends. Excellent prizes and Barbeque on last day. Clinic is on wet or fine (movies on big screen on the rare chance of a wash out day!) School holiday camp: Monday 13 December to Friday 17 December Monday 20 December to Friday 24 December Time: 9am to noon, or 9am to 3pm. Junior Interclub There are 2 separate competitions – pre and post Xmas The pre Xmas competition begins the weekend 17/18th October (excludes Labour w/e) and runs through to 12/13th December.  Played at various locations. Junior Interclub is divided into categories – beginner and open grades Beginners Interclub – this is an excellent avenue for young players to play their first series of matches. It is non threatening. Players need to be able to serve overarm (but not compulsory!) and be able to rally approx. 3 forehands and 2 backhands. If you have any doubt about your readiness please talk to Kevin. Beginners interclub is played on Saturdays at noon, usually finishing by 2.30pm Open Interclub – played on Saturdays (8.30am start) or Sundays (9.00am start) If you need to know more about interclub please talk to the coaches   Assistance needed for juniors - We are looking for parents to take an active role in helping with the juniors.
